Hello Team,

Kick-off Weekend:
Saturday January 7th: For those of you going to the kickoff event on Saturday. The plan is to meet at the front of the High School at 8:45am and leave for Northeastern at 9am.

For the rest of the team, due to the commons being booked, we will be meeting in the Robotics Room from 9:30am-5pm. 

Sunday January 8th: We will be meeting 10am-5pm in the robotics room for brainstorming/strategy.

Parent, Emergency, Medical Information:
Out of the 50 students on the team this year only 18 forms have been filled out.

So we can match the student information we already have to the new information we will get, your child’s Student ID is required. This is also a required form if you wish to travel to WPI/Washington DC

Dinner Sign Up:
Those families that have not signed up for a dinner please contact Nancy (nancy@shrewsburyrobotics.org) as soon as possible. Below is a list of dates that are still open.  Students please talk to your parents to make sure you are signed up for a dinner. Dates will be given out on a first come, first serve basis. Providing one team dinner is a requisite for travel with the team.

Dates open in January: 16th, 24th, 26th

Dates open in February: 4th, 10th, 11th, 15th, 17th, 20th, 21th Brunch, 21st Dinner

The team will be doing brainstorming on Sunday, and food will keep everyone going through the afternoon. Please contribute to our lunch by sending in one plate of sandwiches or a dish to go along with the salad, chips, and drinks that the team will provide.

During the first week dinners will be served every night at 6:30 PM. From then on we will eat together as a team on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday nights. More info concerning food amounts and how dinners are organized please click here.
